Required Technology

Digital Camera - You will need to be able to record yourself telling stories. If you do not personally own a digital video camera (or a still camera with video capabilities), you will need to borrow one for three assignments: The Memory Box, Storytelling and Sharing in ApprenNet, and Traditional Storytelling.

You will be required to post your videos online where members of the class can see them and provide you with feedback for your work-in-progress. You will want to link them to your wiki. You may decide to upload them directly to your wiki space or you may host them on YouTube or Vimeo. On Vimeo, you can set your permissions to make your video "private" except to those who have the link, which you will then provide to class members.

Over the course of the semester, you will also upload three stories to ApprenNet.com.
